All furniture is made to order. From confirmation to delivery, orders take approx. 8-10 weeks (Sydney) and approx. 10-14 weeks (all other states and territories). Bunks may take an extra 2 weeks. Due to either Covid restrictions and/or manufactures closing over the January holiday period, these specified time frames do not apply.

Tasmanian Oak is a sustainable native Australian hardwood. It is recognised for its excellent staining qualities, which allow ready matching with other timbers, finishes or furnishings. Colour: varying from light straw to reddish brown with intermediate shades of cream to pink. Timber is a beautiful natural material with grain detail, colour and finishes subject to variation.

American Oak is a sustainable hardwood from America and is the trade name for a variety of species. It's also quite similar in appearance and colour to European Oak. Colour: pale to medium golden brown. Timber is a beautiful natural material with grain detail, colour and finishes subject to variation.

Yes, our furniture collections can be mixed and matched.

Co-ordinating the upholstered bed collection with timber collections eg. Scout and Scoop makes a perfect combination.

Mixing and matching timber collections are a great idea, we would suggest however that you choose the sample timber throughout.

A stain is an translucent finish applied over the top of timber. The stain finish allows the natural grain of the timber to still be present on the finished product. Our standard stain finishes, Whitewash or Black Japan, are applied to our Tasmanian Oak. Alternatively, you can specify stain to be applied to American Oak (POA). L&L offers both Whitewash and Black Japan.

Whitewash is a light wash applied to Tasmanian Oak which transforms the timber from honey tones to peach tones. This finish allows the natural grain of the oak to be evident on the finished product.

Black Japan is a dark stain (almost black) applied to Tasmanian Oak which transforms the timber from honey to black. This finish allows the natural grain of the oak to be evident on the finished product.

We offer 8 colour options as ‘standard’ in our range. Black, White, Charcoal, Light Grey, Pink, Sage, Deep Blue and Duck Egg Blue.

For custom colours, provide us with a Dulux colour and code and we will colour match your furniture item (POA).

Yes you can colour match either paint or stains to suit your decor.

Colour: supply us with a Dulux colour + code to match (POA).

Stain: supply us with a physical sample to match (POA).

L&L trundle beds are great for sleepovers. Made with easy-glide castors , this allows the trundle to glide out either side of the bed.

Please note that L&L trundles are slightly smaller than the bed size it is co-ordinated with. The trundles are shallow and therefore require a custom sized trundle mattress. Please note that L&L do not take standard sizes mattress. See trundle mattress info for more information.

If you require the trundle to exit out the end of the bed, due to your space requirements (instead of the side), we can customise trundles to suit (POA).

L&L proprietary furniture does not require assembly, with the exception of beds.* Assembled items include bedsides, bookcases, desks, chests of drawers, tall boys, toy boxes and ottomans.

*With exception, assembly is required for L&L beds (as they do not fit through doorways in an assembled state). For more information on bed assembly, see our delivery FAQs (Do you provide assembly of beds?).

When specifying an upholstered item, we can assist you with fabric choices and our standard purchase is to supply fabric on your behalf.

In regards to supplying your own fabric, this is possible. Ask us how many meters is required for the item you have chosen and we advise how many meters you require.

Our duvet covers and duvet sets are available in single, king single/double and queen.

A double size is the correct size option for a king single bed.

L&L supply sheets in singles, king singles, double and queen.

Natural fibres are our choice for bedding for your children. The properties of these natural fibres allows the bedding adapt to regulate the body’s temperate. Natural fibres do not trap heat but breathe to promote the best night’s sleep for children.

Yes, L&L beds are made to fit all standard sizes Australian mattresses. Single, King Single, Double and Queen sizes.

A standard sized mattress will not fit our trundle beds. The trundle beds are slightly smaller than the bed under which it occupies. However, we supply a high density foam mattress which is made to fit for all sizes.

Sealy is our brand of choice. They are Australian made and are to the highest standard of make, comfort and finish. Available in all sizes and come with a 10 year warranty.

L&L trundle mattresses are customised to suit each size of trundle bed. Made in Australia with high density foam. Finished with removable cotton cover (for washing purposes).

Yes, we deliver all over Australia. A quote is provided at time of order/quotation and varies according to volume of items.Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

Yes, we deliver internationally. For international deliveries, additional charges will apply and a quote will be supplied at time of order.

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

L&L use third party furniture freight companies to deliver all over Australia. At time of dispatch the delivery is booked and the freight co. works with you directly to deliver at a time that best suits you.

L&L furniture is not wrapped in plastic or boxed but arrives safely with no rubbish removal required.

Yes, we can book in an assembly service for beds (as these are the only items which required it). Additional fees apply.

L&L send out all homeware with Australia Post or courier and provide a tracking number at time of dispatch.
